Welcome to Bee Aware! We are Saoirse, Ruth, Ionela, and Oisin, and we are 1st Year students studying various business subjects in DCU. This is our blog where we will pitch our gamification idea for DICE 2018. DICE (Digital Innovation Creativity and Enterprise) is a compulsory module for us this year, where we get the opportunity to design and pitch a gamification idea associated with the UN Global Goals. We chose to try promote the goal to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture. We wanted to highlight the importance of bees in our world, and we designed a game aimed at children aged between 6 and 11 called Bee Aware. The game aims to educate children about the types of bees, their importance to our everyday lives and how to help conserve them. Make sure to check out our site and read all about Bee Aware!
